DAY 1:
Morning check in at the international Airport Frankfurt Terminal 1. We fly with Lufthansa from Frankfurt at 09:00 am to Istanbul. Arrival at 1:05 pm. Flight to the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul. The city on two continents between East and West is one of the oldest cities in the world still in existence and awaits you with all its charm and beauty.
The city offers a variety of culinary delights. Dinner is expected today in a restaurant outside the hotel. Let the journey begin with a cozy get-together.
DAY 2:
After breakfast, the tour of the old town begins. First, we visit the Hippodrome, completed in 333 by Constantine the Great, the only place where people and rulers met. In addition to the obelisk of Thutmosis III, the Serpent Column and the brick obelisk, the Hippodrome also contains the German fountain, Alman Cesmesi, donated by Emperor Wilhelm II. Very close by are the Sultan Ahmet Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque, and the Hagia Sophia, which was consecrated under Emperor Constantine the Great in 326 and, after being destroyed twice, was rebuilt in its current, enlarged form by order of Emperor Justinian. This 1500-year-old building is one of the most ingenious spatial creations in world architecture. Free time and lunch break. In the afternoon, visit the Column of Constantine and the Grand Bazaar with more than 4000 shops.
DAY 3:
After breakfast, enjoy a free day or (optional) be a guest of sultans and merchants today. Visit the most important palace of the sultans, Topkapi Sarayi, with its magnificent treasure chambers and a wonderful view of the city. Afterwards, visit the underground water depot Yerebatan-Sarayi, whose building rests on 336 columns. Later today, we start with an excursion (included) to the whirling dervishes of the Mevlevi Order.
DAY 4:
After breakfast a leisurely boat trip (approx. 2 hours) on the Bosporus awaits you - under the two large suspension bridges, past several palaces, summer villas, wooden houses and the Rumeli Hisari fortress and back to the Golden Horn. In the evening we enjoy am included dinner show with Oriental Dance and Anatolien Folk Dances. Dinner includes local limited drinks.
DAY 5:
The time until the airport transfer is at your leisure. Afternoon departure to the International Airport Istanbul. Flight with Lufthansa back to Frankfurt (5:55 pm - 8:00 PM)

HOTEL INFORMATION: The hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul, centrally in the old town. The Grand Bazaar, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and many other sights are just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel offers everything you need on holiday, such as a great garden, a library, a terrace where you can end the evening with a drink at the bar. It also has a wellness center with a sauna and a Turkish bath. There is also a rooftop pool, an indoor pool and a plunge pool. The modern rooms are equipped with a minibar, hairdryer, flat-screen satellite TV, safe, telephone, air conditioning and free toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast is buffet style and dinner is a 3-course menu.
