DAY 1:
Begin your journey bright and early: 06:15 am departure from Böblingen, Panzerkaserne PX parking lot; 08:15 am from Ramstein Shell Autohof (parking fee € 7 per day); 08:45 am from Kaiserslautern Daennerplatz, P&R near Kleber Kaserne; 10:00 am from Wiesbaden Hainerberg bus stop Washingtonstreet, corner J.F. After a scenic day drive through Germany, we arrive in the Netherlands in the afternoon. Our first stop is an authentic Cheese Farm, where you'll experience a live demonstration of traditional cheese-making. Following that, we’ll visit a Wooden Shoe Factory to witness the craftsmanship behind the iconic Dutch clogs, still worn by many locals today. In the late afternoon or early evening, we check in to our luxurious 4-star hotel, where a delicious 3-course dinner will be served to end your day on a high note.
DAY 2:
Start your day with a hearty buffet breakfast at the hotel, included in your package. Then, we embark on a full-day excursion to explore the best of the Netherlands, beginning with a guided tour of Amsterdam. Our first stop will be the famous Dam Square, located in the heart of the city. From there, you’ll have the option to take a canal tour in a glass-covered boat (not included), allowing you to soak in the stunning views of Amsterdam’s iconic waterways. Enjoy some free time to wander the city, grab lunch, or do some shopping before we continue to Zaanse Schans, a picturesque windmill park that showcases traditional Dutch culture. Our next stop will be Volendam, a charming fishing village that offers some of the best photo opportunities in the country. After a scenic walk through Volendam’s harbor area, your guide will suggest some cozy local restaurants for dinner (at your own expense). Finally, we’ll make our way to Emmeloord, crossing the impressive 25 km long Houtribdijk (the dike crossing the Zuiderzee) in the evening.
DAY 3:
After another delicious buffet breakfast at the hotel, we check out and head to the famous Keukenhof Gardens, one of the largest flower attractions in the world, especially vibrant during the spring season. Explore the vast park with its colorful flower displays, majestic trees, and a variety of animals, including swans and breeding birds. For families with children, there’s also the Bollebozen route, a maze, a play meadow, and an animal pasture to enjoy. Next, we travel to the charming city of Haarlem, where you’ll be able to admire the Flower Parade floats, which have just arrived from the previous day's festivities. With over twenty elaborately decorated floats and many other special vehicles, this is the perfect opportunity for some stunning photos, accompanied by live music and performances from various local bands. After enjoying lunch and the celebrations, we begin our return journey to Germany. Expect a late evening arrival at your original pick-up locations.
