Travel overnight to Italy and spend a full day immersed in the colorful celebrations of the Venice Carnival. After the festivities, spend the night at a comfortable 4-star hotel in Padua. DAY 1:

• 7:00 PM: Departure from Wiesbaden – Hainerberg, J.F. Kennedy Str., at the corner of Washington Str. Bus waiting area.

• 8:15 PM: Departure from Kaiserslautern – P+R parking lot at Daennerplatz, near Kleber Kaserne.

• 10:00 PM: Departure from Böblingen – Panzerkaserne, PX parking lot.

Travel overnight by coach through Austria and into Italy.

DAY 2:

After time for a quick breakfast, we arrive in Venice, where we board a motorboat for a scenic ride to Piazza San Marco. Upon arrival, we begin with a walking tour to explore some of Venice’s most iconic landmarks: the magnificent Ducal Palace, the historic Prison of Venice with the famous Bridge of Sighs, the stunning Basilica di San Marco, and the towering Campanile, all set against the backdrop of the lively Piazza San Marco. After the tour, enjoy a fascinating demonstration by Venetian glassblowers, showcasing their ancient craft. In the afternoon, the rest of the day is free for you to explore at your leisure. Be sure to witness the spectacular Parade of Masquerades as it winds through the streets of Venice. It’s the perfect opportunity to snap photos of the hundreds of vibrant costumes worn by participants from around the world. Immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of Carnevale, sharing the joy and excitement with both locals and fellow visitors. For an extra special experience, why not treat yourself to a romantic gondola ride along Venice’s picturesque canals? Later, enjoy an early dinner (optional) in Venice before we board the boat back to the bus parking area and head to our 4star hotel in Padua.

DAY 3:

After an included buffet breakfast at the hotel, we check out and depart for Verona. Enjoy some time to discover this beautiful Italian city, known for its charming historic center and its connection to Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. After an early pizza lunch, we begin our journey back to Germany. We expect to arrive back at our departure locations late at night.
