Starting the journey in the morning makes for a wonderfully relaxed and enjoyable day. With each passing hour, we head further south — and the scenery just keeps getting better. As we approach the majestic Alps, you’ll be treated to some of the most breathtaking landscapes Europe has to offer: snow-capped peaks, rolling green valleys, and picture-perfect mountain villages along the way. By evening, we’ll arrive at our hotel, where you can settle into your comfortable room, unwind after the day’s journey, and enjoy a delicious dinner. Then it's time to relax and recharge — ready for the adventures that await!

Dec 24th:

After enjoying breakfast and checking out, we set off for the historic city of Pisa — home to one of the most iconic landmarks in the world. Upon arrival, we’ll take a guided orientation tour of the Piazza dei Miracoli, the stunning “Square of Miracles.” Marvel at the famous Leaning Tower, a true architectural wonder, alongside the magnificent 11th-century Cathedral and the beautifully ornate Baptistery. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and photo opportunities! From Pisa, we continue our journey south toward the Eternal City — Rome. Upon arrival, we’ll check into our hotel, where you'll have time to relax, settle in, and freshen up. In the evening, we come together to celebrate the holiday spirit with a festive Christmas dinner at our hotel — the perfect way to end the day and welcome the Roman chapter of our journey.

Dec 25th:

After breakfast, we set off for an unforgettable highlight of our journey — Christmas Mass at the awe-inspiring St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City. Join pilgrims from around the world in celebrating this special day in one of Christianity’s holiest sites. After the service, step out into St. Peter’s Square to witness the official Papal Blessing, broadcast live across the globe. Being there in person is a truly moving experience — one you’ll treasure for a lifetime. In the afternoon, we dive into the heart of ancient Rome on a panoramic sightseeing tour. Highlights include the mighty Colosseum, where gladiators once fought for glory; the sprawling Roman Forum, once the bustling center of political and social life in the Empire; the magnificent Pantheon, a temple dedicated to all gods; and of course, the romantic Trevi Fountain — don’t forget to toss a coin to ensure your return to Rome! This evening, your guide will be happy to suggest a traditional Christmas dinner at one of Rome’s charming restaurants in the historic city center (approx. € 60 per person). A perfect way to end a magical Christmas Day in the Eternal City.

Dec 26th:

After an early breakfast, get ready for a fascinating journey back in time as we head south to the legendary city of Pompeii. Buried under a thick blanket of ash and pumice during the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, Pompeii was frozen in time — its streets, buildings, and daily life preserved for centuries. Ongoing excavations, now spanning over 250 years, have unearthed one of the most extraordinary archaeological sites in the world. This morning, you’ll enjoy a guided tour through the highlights of this ancient Roman city. Walk along cobbled streets, admire remarkably preserved villas, shops, and temples, and gain a vivid insight into daily life nearly two thousand years ago. Around midday, we continue along the scenic Sorrentina — a breathtaking coastal drive offering panoramic views over the sparkling Bay of Naples. Our next stop is the stunning Sorrento Peninsula, famous for its dramatic cliffs, lemon groves, and artisan inlaid woodwork. You'll have time to enjoy lunch at your leisure and perhaps do a bit of shopping in this charming resort town, known for its laid-back elegance and Mediterranean flair. In the evening, we return to Rome — tired but filled with unforgettable impressions from a day steeped in history, beauty, and culture.

Dec 27th:

After breakfast and check-out, enjoy a free morning in Rome. You may wish to visit the renowned Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel (advance timed-entry reservations are required; please see below for more information) or explore the magnificent St. Peter's Basilica. Following lunchtime, we bid farewell to Rome and travel north through the scenic Italian countryside toward the rolling hills and sun-drenched landscapes of Tuscany. We arrive at our charming hotel in the late afternoon, where you'll have time to relax and settle in before dinner. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

Dec 28th:

After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we’ll embark on a delightful walking tour through the heart of Florence. Our route highlights some of the city’s most iconic treasures: the charming Ponte Vecchio spanning the Arno River, the magnificent Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore crowned by Brunelleschi’s stunning dome, the elegant Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the beautiful Baptistery with its famous Porta del Paradiso (Gates of Paradise). As we pass through the vibrant Piazza della Signoria, the city’s historic political hub, we continue to the remarkable Basilica of Santa Croce — the resting place of many Renaissance greats, including Michelangelo, Galileo, and Machiavelli. Following the tour, enjoy some free time to explore Florence at your own pace. This is the perfect opportunity to browse local shops for exquisite Florentine leather goods and elegant gold jewelry, renowned throughout the world. In the early afternoon, we begin our journey back to Germany, with an expected arrival around midnight, bringing a wonderful trip to a close filled with unforgettable memories.
