DAY 1: Arrive in Tanzania - Transfer to Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. The drive offers your first glimpse of Tanzania’s beautiful landscapes as you pass small villages and open countryside. Once you arrive at the hotel, you can relax and settle in after your journey. The rest of the day is at leisure as you prepare for the exciting safari adventure ahead. Overnight in Arusha

DAY 2:  Arusha – Tarangire National Park 125KM 

After breakfast, you will begin the drive toward Tarangire National Park, passing through open plains and rural villages along the way. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a full game drive in this wildlife rich park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River which attracts many animals, especially during the dry season. You may see lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and a wide variety of birdlife. The day is spent exploring different areas of the park, with breaks to enjoy the scenery and wildlife encounters, before heading to your lodge for a relaxed evening and overnight.

DAY 3: Tarangire to Serengeti 190KM 

After an early breakfast, you will depart from the Tarangire Park  and begin your journey towards the iconic Serengeti National Park, enjoying a scenic drive through the beautiful highlands before descending into the vast plains of the Serengeti. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a game drive en route, spotting wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and predators as you enter the park. You will arrive in the afternoon and continue exploring the endless savannah, taking in the rich wildlife and stunning landscapes before heading to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay in the heart of the Serengeti.

DAY 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will spend a full day exploring the endless plains of Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. This is the perfect opportunity to fully experience the rich wildlife of the Serengeti, with chances to spot large herds of wildebeest and zebras, as well as predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs in their natural habitat. You may choose to enjoy a picnic lunch out in the bush or return to camp for a hot lunch before heading out again for more wildlife viewing. As the day comes to an end, you will return to your camp to relax, enjoy dinner, and soak in the peaceful atmosphere of the African wilderness. 

DAY 5: Serengeti Park  to Ngorongoro Highlands

After an early breakfast, we enjoy an early morning game drive en route then we drive to Ngorongoro highlands.  Visit  Mto wa Mbu  a vibrant local village known for its cultural diversity. Drive to the lodge arriving in the late afternoon for relaxation and an overnight stay.

DAY 6: Karatu - Ngorongoro Crater Exploration

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive, exploring one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations. The crater floor is home to an incredible concentration of animals, offering excellent chances to spot lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, and even the rare black rhino. You will enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the crater, surrounded by nature and wildlife. In the afternoon, you will continue with your game drive before ascending back to the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 7: Arusha  to Zanzibar

After breakfast, we will depart to Arusha region for your flight to Zanzibar where you will be met on arrival and transferred to your resort for check in, followed by time at leisure and overnight stay

DAY 8: Leisure in Zanzibar

Spend the next 2 days at leisure, enjoying the serene surroundings of your resort. Relax on the powdery white sandy beaches, swim in the turquoise waters, or take part in water activities such as snorkeling and diving to explore the vibrant marine life. You may also visit Baraka Aquarium or take a trip to Jozani Forest to see the endemic red colobus monkeys. Optional excursions are available at an extra cost, including a spice farm tour, a traditional sunset dhow cruise, or a visit to historic Prison Island. These days are designed for complete relaxation, allowing you to unwind fully while enjoying the natural beauty and culture of Zanzibar.

DAY 9: Leisure in Zanzibar

DAY 10: Departure back to Germany

After breakfast, you will check out from your resort and be transferred to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight home. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have a final opportunity to enjoy the beach or take a short stroll around the resort grounds. Your safari and Zanzibar adventure comes to a close with memories of wildlife encounters, stunning landscapes, and relaxing days on the pristine beaches of Zanzibar.

TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN: due to the nature of this tour, it is not recommended for children under the age of 12.

INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS: We would be happy to book your flights from Germany to Kilimanjaro Arusha, Tanzania (November 21) and your return flight from Zanzibar to Germany (December 1).

IMPORTANT: Please do not book any flights until the tour has been officially confirmed. The tour is subject to a minimum of 8 participants. Please contact us to verify the tour status before making any travel arrangements.

PAYMENT: 10% down payment per person by booking. Rest payment is due 95 days prior to departure.

CANCELLATION CHARGES for flight with hotel overnight trips: up to 96 days prior to departure 10% of the tour price; 95-61 days prior to departure, 40% of the tour price; 60-35 days prior to departure, 60% of the tour price; 34-16 days prior departure: 75% of the tour price; 15-7 days prior departure: 90% of the tour price; 6 days until day of departure: 100% of the tour price will be charged.
