culture of Ancient Egypt. Cairo, with its lively souks and imposing skyscrapers along the Nile, is a place
where you can experience modern Egypt in all its diversity.
After your impressive stay in Cairo, your journey continues on a luxurious Nile cruise. This cruise not
only promises the comfort of modern amenities but also offers the unique opportunity to discover
Egypt's historical wonders along the life-giving Nile. The journey along the river takes you to some of
the world's most significant archaeological sites, including the temple complexes of Luxor and Karnak,

DAY 1:
Afternoon check in at the international Airport Frankfurt Terminal 1. We fly with Lufthansa from Frankfurt at 3:10 pm to Cairo. Arrival at 8:15 pm. Upon arrival, our friendly team will greet you at the airport in Cairo. A comfortable transfer will take you to your luxurious 5-star City hotel. Enjoy an exquisite dinner and relax in your elegant room to
round off the day.
DAY 2:
After a hearty breakfast, visit the historic necropolis of Sakkara, an impressive archaeological highlight.
Lunch will energize you for the next part of your discovery journey - the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx,
and the ancient necropolis. Be enchanted by these ancient wonders of the world. The day ends with a
tasty dinner.
DAY 3:
Start the day with breakfast before exploring Cairo, the vibrant metropolis of Africa. Visiting the
Egyptian Grand - Museum leads you to the treasures of the ancient Egyptians and other precious
artifacts. Next, you'll tour the impressive Saladin Citadel with the Alabaster Mosque, known for its
stunning architecture. A lunch of Egyptian specialties prepares you for more experiences. The day
concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 4:
Your day begins with an early morning flight taking you directly from the bustling metropolis of Cairo
to historic Luxor. There, the elegant 5-star Deluxe Ship awaits, your home for the coming days. After settling in on board and enjoying lunch, delve into the world of ancient Egypt with visits to the breathtaking temple complexes of Karnak and Luxor. Wander through the impressive temple court, explore the Temple of Ramses III, and marvel at the largest columned hall of antiquity. The day ends with a visit to the Luxor Temple, once dedicated to the divine triad of Thebes. After an eventful day, return to the ship where you'll enjoy a delicious dinner and stay overnight.
DAY 5:
Today, your journey takes you to Thebes-West, the gateway to the underworld of Ancient Egypt. You
visit the legendary Valley of the Kings, where you'll dive into the secrets of the pharaohs' tombs.
Marvel at the final resting places of great rulers and the intricate hieroglyphs that adorn the walls.
Another highlight is the visit to the terraced Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most powerful
and fascinating figures in Egyptian history, who ruled the country for over two decades. Your
exploration tour also leads you to the imposing Colossi of Memnon, impressive statues that once
marked the entrance to the mortuary temple of Amenophis III. These monumental guardians are silent
witnesses to a bygone era. In the afternoon, your ship continues its journey, gliding gently from Luxor to
Edfu. As you sail on the Nile, you can admire the changing landscape and prepare for the next
adventures that await you. Dinner on the ship.
DAY 6:
After breakfast, drive with the bus to the impressive Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus and
among the best-preserved Egyptian temples. A majestic granite falcon greets you at the entrance.
Then, it's on to the unique Double Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile-headed god Sobek
and the falcon-headed god Haroeris. The day ends in Aswan, where your ship anchors for the night.
Dinner concludes the day aboard.
DAY 7:
The excursion in Aswan begins with a visit to the impressive High Dam, a marvel of modern
engineering, built between 1960 and 1971. Next on your agenda is the viewing of the monumental,
42-meter-long unfinished obelisk in the ancient granite quarries. Your adventure continues to the
Philae Temple, a magical sanctuary of the goddess Isis, located on the island of Agilkia. These historic
sites offer you a deep insight into the diversity of Egyptian civilization – from its ancient grandeur to
modern development. The day ends with an idyllic felucca ride on the Nile, offering unique views of the
surrounding natural beauty. To conclude the day, enjoy a mood-setting dinner aboard your ship,
nestled in the tranquil atmosphere of the Nile, and reflect on the day's impressions.
DAY 8:
Today, you have the opportunity to spend your time freely. A highlight of the day could be the optional
excursion to the imposing rock temples of Abu Simbel. These architectural masterpieces, built in honor
of Ramses II and his beloved wife Nefertari, are among the most spectacular monuments in Egypt.
Here, you have the rare chance to admire the grand statues and the temple complexes carved deep
into the rock, which stand as an impressive testimony to ancient Egyptian architecture and its ability to
awe future generations. The day ends with dinner aboard your ship, where you can enjoy good food
and a relaxed atmosphere to reflect on the day's experiences before retiring for the night.
DAY 9:
Your Egyptian adventure is drawing to a close. Early morning transfer to Aswan airport. Flight from Aswan 06:00 am via Cairo to Germany. Arriival in Germany 2:10 pm
