Cape Town - Western Cape
Itinerary (subject to change)
Day 1: Evening check in at the international Airport Frankfurt Terminal 1. We fly direct with Condor / Lufthansa Group to Cape Town (8:40 pm – 09:40 am+).
Day 2: Noon time arrival at Cape Town International Airport. Transfer to your booked first class Guest House in Somerset West. After checkin, free time for relaxation and own activities or join us for a late lunch at a nearby wine estate.
Day 3: After a hearty breakfast, we will travel to Cape Town, the center of the Western Cape region, where we take a cable car with a 360° view up to the famous Table Mountain. Afterwards we visit one of the oldest markets at Green Market Square, which dates back to the year 1696. Situated at the foot of Signal Hill we will enjoy one of Cape Town’s most distinct neighborhoods, Bo-Kaap, with its multi colored houses. Our last stop today will be at the premier tourist destination at the foot of the Twelve Apostles mountain range and the Table Mountain. Free time in Camps Bay for dinner before we drive back to our Guest House/Hotel.
Day 4: After breakfast we drive to the harbor of Cape Town to board our boat to the UNESCO declared Robben Island. Here we will join a tour of the former South Africa’s maximum security prison with detailed stories about Nelson Mandela and other inmates. In the afternoon we visit the second oldest town in South Africa – Stellenbosch. Time for shopping and to stroll in the oak-lined avenues. Time for dinner (included) before we drive back to our Guest House/Hotel.
Day 5: This morning, after breakfast in the garden of our guesthouse/hotel, we depart for the Cape of Good Hope at the southern end of the Western Cape. Enjoy the amazing views from the rocky promontory. Afterwards, a nice picnic will be prepared at the beach for lunch before we depart for Boulders Beach. This beautiful beach is the only place in the world where you get close to African Penguins. We then drive along the rocky coastline on the legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive with breathtaking views. Dinner in Somerset West (included).
Day 6: Today is reserved to discover the beautiful and cozy village of Franschoek with its Dutch and French African architecture, fine cafes, restaurants, art galleries and souvenir shops. Here we will join a wine tour and visit two different wineries, where we have the opportunity to taste the exquisite wines and local cuisine in majestic surroundings. A visit and a guided tour of the Franschhoek Motor Museum, which offers a look back to more than 100 years of motoring history, will complete our day. In the early evening we will dine at one of the restaurants (included) overlooking the impressing valley encircled almost entirely by scenic mountains.
Day 7: This morning we depart early and drive over the stunning Bain’s Kloof pass via Ceres to a private Game Reserve. After breakfast we start with our Safari led by an experienced guide who will share exciting inside stories and facts about your surroundings easily rousing your inner wild side. See Lions, Zebras, Giraffes, Elephants, Rhinos and more African Wild Life! Lunch in the resort before we drive back over the Hexriver pass and Worcester to Somerset West. After some free time to freshen up we will enjoy dining in the restaurant of the Erinvale Estate Hotel (included).
Day 8: After breakfast we will drive to one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in the world. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is situated on the east side of Table Mountain and displays collections of South African plants. The next stop is planned at Bloubergstrand. This wide sandy beach is well known as a great location to take astonishing pictures of Cape Town and the Table Mountain. Now it’s time for shopping! We will have enough free time at the Victora & Alfred Waterfront, a restored harbor quarter with hotels, retail stores, dining, leisure and entertainment facilities. Have an early dinner before we will start with a Sundowner Cruise along the coastline of Cape Town.
Day 9: After breakfast and check out we drive to an Ostrich Ranch. After an informative tour of the museum and the ranch, you'll have the opportunity sitting on an Ostrich, feeding an Ostrich and so much more.It's a lot of fun. After shopping time we will have lunch there and will depart in the afternoon for the airport. We fly at 6:10 pm direct with Condor / Lufthansa Group to Frankfurt.
Day 10: arrival at 05:25 am at Frankfurt International Airport.

SINGLE ROOM SUPPLEMENT: € 350,-- for 7 overnights in the Guest House. Persons booked on share basis must pay single supplement if no share is available. Share basis means double or triple occupancy.

PAYMENT: € 300 down payment per person by booking. Rest payment is due 60 days prior to departure.

CANCELLATION CHARGES: up to 96 days prior to departure € 100 per person; 95-61 days prior to departure, 20% of the tour price; 60-35 days prior to departure, 50% of the tour price; 34-16 days prior departure: 75% of the tour price; 15-7 days prior departure: 90% of the tour price; 6 days until day of departure: 100% of the tour price will be charged. No refund for No-shows.
