Bruges is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, most certainly a gem in Belgium! Walking along the maze of winding cobbled alleys and romantic canals, you imagine yourself to be in medieval times. The wealth of the museums (including the famous French Fry museum) is a striking image of the city’s history.

Day 1:
Departure from Kaiserslautern Daennerplatz P+R parking lot, near Kleber Kaserne at 06:00 am, departure from Ramstein Shell Autohof (parking fee € 5/day) at 06:30 am, departure from Baumholder, Freisen P+R parking lot (A62/L133) at 07:00 am, departure from Spangdahlem P+R parking lot at Autobahn exit 8 (A60/L46) at 08:00 am. Daytime journey via Brussels to Bruges with a coffee stop enroute. After our arrival in Bruges, free time to enjoy the annual Beer Festival featuring 70 brewers and hundreds of beers (even non-alcoholic ones) and we can’t think of a better place to be than in the center of all of it. Later you have time to discover the old city center of Bruges by joining a lovely boat ride in the little canals of Bruges (extra). In the early evening, we will meet and check in at our 4-star hotel. The evening is free for own activities. Public transportation available, if you like to go back to the center of Bruges.
After a rich breakfast buffet in our hotel (incl.) and check-out, we drive to Brussels. We will stop for pictures at the world famous Atomium, the national symbol of Belgium. Afterwards we drive to the center of Brussels. Here we go to the Grote Markt and the Manneken Pis, one of the most loved symbols of Brussles. Try some Belgian chocolates and waffles, it is a must. After free time for lunch, we depart for Germany. Break en route. Late evening arrival at points of origin.
